The Portuguese Environment Agency, through its decentralized department for Hydrographic Administration for the North REgion (APA/North ARH ) promotes the next day February 18, 2016 a seminar on "River rehabilitation: challenges and opportunities for the North Region". The event will take place at Chaves Municipal Auditorium (former GATAT building) and is scheduled to start at 14:00. PO SEUR will be represented by the Eng. Manuela Matos, Member of the Steering Committee. Admission is free , but prior registration is required.

Next January 18, Seminar "Fi-Compass: Financial Instruments devilering ESI Funds" will take place in Lisbon, in Hotel Tivoli Oriente. The initiative, organized by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank, is part of a series of seminars covering 25 Member States of the European Union, and the next ones are scheduled for January 21 in Ljubljana - Slovenia, January 25 in La Valletta - Malta and 27 January in The Hague - Netherlands.

EDP and Jornal de Negócios organized the Seminar "EFFICIENT ENERGY MANAGEMENT IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR", which will be held on 18th November at Quinta das Lágrimas in Coimbra. This initiative will discuss the main issues on the industry today and the instruments contributing to the competitiveness of the public sector: Innovation, the new support framework (Portugal 2020) and Efficient Management of Energy, with the presentation of case studies.
