Yesterday, March 31, was published a Call for Applications code POSEUR-12-2016-38 for operations aimed at closing the water supply systems in low and sanitation systems of waste water and also for operations aimed at reduction of urban pollution in water bodies. The deadline for applications submission is 18:00 of June 30, 2016.
The typologies subject to proposals operations under this procedure are set out in Article 95 of the RE SEUR, covering infrastructure "Water Supply" and "Sanitation Residual Waters".
Water Supply (WS):
Closure of water supply systems in low, in order to optimize capacity utilization and adherence to service through the implementation of links between systems for high and systems in low and extent of the service to populations not yet supplied the area of influence of the systems, after consideration of alternatives, including through appropriate solutions to small clusters;
Water Sewerage (WP):
Investments to reduce urban pollution in water bodies, with special focus on full implementation of the Directive on the treatment of Urban Waste Water - Directive 91/271 / EEC of 21-05- 1991 (DARU), to ensure environmental protection in general and of surface and coastal waters in particular, the adverse effects of discharges of urban waste water by building systems for larger clusters and increased physical accessibility to wastewater sanitation services, including solutions suitable for small clusters;
Sanitation systems closure of wastewater in order to optimize capacity utilization and adherence to service through the implementation of links between systems for high and systems in low and extent of the service to populations not yet served in the area influence of systems.
The types in question fall under the Investment Priority 6.ii. - "Investment in the water sector to meet the requirements of the Union acquis on the environment and to meet the investment needs in excess of the requirements identified by the Member States" provided in the Operational Programme Sustainability and Efficient Use of Resources.
