PO SEUR provides in its Priority Axis 1 the support for a transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors, including in Investment Priority 4.3 - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and the use of renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including in public buildings and in the housing sector. " Within this IP projects will be supported by PO SEUR covered by the Section 2 of the Specific Regulation - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure Central Administration".

Yesterday, July 23, 2015, Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 52-A / 2015 was published, establishing the operational framework of the Financial Instrument for the Rehabilitation and Urban Revitalization. Also yesterday an Announcement of the Council of Ministers approved the establishment of the Financial Instrument for Energy within Portugal 2020 called IFE2020.
