MultiAdapt project of Almada Municipality was one of 20 selected by the UN to be presented at the Pavilion of Cities and Regions, at the Climate Summit, taking place in Paris. It is one of 30 municipal projects to adapt to climate change under way in Portugal.
The project will serve as an example to follow here and in other corners of the planet in terms of resilience and accommodation to what is coming. "What we propose are simple and high worldwide replication capacity plans," explains Catarina Freitas, director of the Department of Energy, Climate, Environment and Mobility at Almada Municipality.
