Approved the Application by Direção Geral de Energia e Geologia (DGEG) to Call for Applications POSEUR-15-2015-06, which had a period for submission of applications between 30 April and 29 May 2015. This Call for Applications / Invitation was inserted under the Axis 3 and Priority Investment 6.4 - Protection and rehabilitation of biodiversity and soil and promotion of ecosystem services systems, particularly through Natura 2000 and green infrastructure.

With the designation Estudo do Microbismo Natural das Águas Minerais Naturais - HIDROGENOMA, the project aims to deepen the knowledge of the natural mineral water resources for the identification of microorganisms present, by determining the DNA and RNA, identifying those who are living and relationships existing with each other, removing information about the environment in which they operate. The proposed study will allow the identification of various applications that leverage these geological resources and evaluation of their therapeutic gains.
