Under Call for Applications/Invitation code POSEUR-12-2015-03 in the field of wastewater treatment and in order to address non-compliance and litigation under the Directive on the Treatment of Urban Waste Water - Directive 91/271 / EEC of 21.5.1991 (DARU) an application was approved that is designed to support the construction of the WWTP of Beja.

This - Call was inserted in the urban water cycle, part of PO SEUR Axis III, which includes the Investment Priority (IP) 6.2 - "Investments in the water sector to meet the requirements of the environmental acquis Union and meet the investment needs identified by the Member States to go beyond these requirements."
