Under the Call for Applications code POSEUR-12-2015-02 within the Wastewater Treatment domain and in order to comply with the Directive on the Treatment of Urban Waste Water - Directive 91/271 / EEC of 21.5.1991 (DARU), the application designed to support Lapas / Ribeira Branca Sanitation Subsystem was approved. This Call was inserted in the urban water cycle, part of PO SEUR Axis III, which includes the Investment Priority 6.2 - "Investments in the water sector to meet the requirements of the environmental acquis and meet the investment needs identified by the Member States to go beyond these requirements".
