EU Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Creţu is this week’s guest on the Euronews show “Real Economy”. During her sit-down with the show’s host Maithreyi Seetharaman, Commissioner Creţu discusses how partnership and collaboration can breathe a new lease of life into the European economy and can help to address some of the biggest issues we face today.

The show then takes us on the road, to discover two examples of how this works in practice:

-Liverpool uses partnership to help boost its local economy to regain some of the city’s lost glory – and the results are showing!

-In Portugal, collaboration is being reinforced thanks to URBACT, a collaboration initiative which helps cities facing similar challenges but also opportunities, to come together.
