The Green Project Awards Ceremony took place on January 7, in the Grand Auditorium of Culturgest in Lisbon and marked the end of the eighth edition of this initiative. That morning had as a theme the COP 21 - challenges and conclusions, and more than 400 guests were present, including partners, finalists, and GPA winners as well as the Secretary of State for the Environment, Carlos Martins, the Secretary of State for Fisheries, José Apolinario, the Secretary of State for Forestry and Rural Development, Amândio Torres, the Secretary of State for Youth and Sport, John Wengorovius Meneses, the Assistant Secretary of State for the Environment, José Mendes, and the Secretary of State for Energy, Jorge Seguro.
25 projects and actions were distinguished for their contribution to sustainable development.
With the institutional support of the CPLP and the European Commission - in addition to the Government of Portugal since its inception - the GPA is currently a reference in sustainability in our country. PO SEUR was present in this initiative, represented by Eng Manuela Matos, Member of the Steering Committee.
