The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) promotes over a period of three months from 17 December 2015 to 17 March 2016, a public participation procedure for the Flood Risk Management Plans (PGRI). The PGRI aimed at reducing the potential adverse consequences of flooding for human health, the environment, cultural heritage, infrastructure and economic activities in Critical Areas (Management Units associated with floods).
