PO SEUR provides in its Priority Axis 1 the support for a transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors, including in Investment Priority 4.3 - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and the use of renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including in public buildings and in the housing sector. " Within this IP projects will be supported by PO SEUR covered by the Section 2 of the Specific Regulation - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure Central Administration".

In this sense, it was released by PO SEUR Management Authority last September 30, the Call for Application code POSEUR-03-2016-65 for the increase of energy efficiency in public infrastructure within the State's Central Administration.

Beneficiaries eligible to this Call are the bodies of the State Central Administration, framed in the entities referred to in subparagraph a) of Article 30 of the RE SEUR.

Furthermore, under Section 4  of RE SEUR- "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure of Local Government", projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency in infrastructure will be supported under the Local Administration.

As provided for in paragraphs a) and b) of Article 37 of the RE SEUR, the beneficiaries eligible for Section 4 RE SEUR are:

· Local authorities and their associations;

· Companies from the local business sector 100% owned by public entities.

Section 4 of RE SEUR will be supported by the ERDF, through the Regional Operational Programmes where the investment is located and not the Cohesion Fund through PO SEUR. So it is a responsibility of the Regional Programmmes, not PO SEUR, the launch of Calls for Applications under Section 4, intended to increase energy efficiency in public infrastructure under the Local Administration.

To obtain information about the Section 4, in particular as regards the timings for Calls and more specific questions you should contact the various Regional Programmes.

Thus, if the project you want to develop is located:

· In the North, we suggest you contact Norte 2020;

· In the Alentejo region, we suggest you contact Alentejo 2020;

· In the Algarve region, we suggest you contact CRESC Algarve 2020;

· In the Central region, we suggest you contact Centro 2020; and

· In the Lisbon area, we suggest you contact Lisboa 2020.
