The Operational Programme for Sustainability and Efficient Use of Resources (PO SEUR) was this morning meeting with the eight intermunicipal Communities (CIM) of the Central Region that have Pacts for Development and Territorial Cohesion signed with this program.
The goals of this meeting served for defining the priority areas for the Central Region, taking into account the needs identified in these Pacts, Community funding for this year, and the inclusion of these concerns in the Calls for Applications calendar to launch by PO SEUR.
It also included the definition of the practical aspects in the relationship between the CIM and PO SEUR Management Authority in stages as the preparation of Calls, the submission of applications and the implementation of nominated and approved projects, taking into account the results of the applications selection criteria.
Globally, Central Region will receive about 4.8 million of Cohesion Fund though PO SEUR and that will allow the implementation of the territorial development strategy defined by each CIM, ensuring greater autonomy of these organizations in managing their projects.
