PO SEUR Management Authority has just published a Call for Applications-Invitation for the Recovery and Resolution of environmental liabilities of abandoned mines with the code POSEUR-17-2017-28. Applications will run until 6:00 pm on February 16, 2018.

The typology of operation eligible under this Call will be the one intended for "Rehabilitation projects, remediation and environmental recovery of degraded areas affected by the extractive industry, based on previously identified situations, as well as the studies and projects to be developed for this purpose, Accordingly, in addition to material interventions for the resolution of mining environmental liabilities, such as rehabilitation, remediation, reclamation and environmental decontamination interventions, expenditures on their necessary studies and projects may also be considered eligible. Actions to monitor soil and surface water and groundwater, as long as directly related to the interventions to be applied in this Call, under the aforementioned typology.
