Published annually by APA, the State of Environment Report is prepared since 1987 and aims to assess the state of the environment in Portugal, recognizing the major progress and constraints in this area and identifying the position of the country in meeting the goals and targets assumed.
The REA 2015 has 36 records of environmental indicators, distributed in eight chapters: Economy and Environment; Energy and Climate; Transport; Air; Water; Soil and biodiversity; Waste and Environmental Risks.
Summarizing the main contents of these indicators, the REA 2015 includes 8 infographics for each of these chapters.
In addition to indicators, the 2015 edition includes a set of 16 articles on the latest developments in environment and environmental policies. It also contains, like the last two years a chapter on Macroeconomic Scenarios.
