PO SEUR provides in its Priority Axis 1 the support for a transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors, including in Investment Priority 4.3 - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and the use of renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including in public buildings and in the housing sector. " Within this IP projects will be supported by PO SEUR covered by the Section 2 of the Specific Regulation - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure Central Administration".

Applications under this Call/Invitation run until 18:00 of May 27, 2016 and shall be submitted through Balcão 2020.

European Funds from Portugal 2020 will support energy efficiency in homes and help the Portuguese save money spent with energy. The first step of the Operational Programme for Sustainability and Efficient Use of Resources (PO SEUR) is to allocate € 40 million of European funds in the new financial instrument for the rehabilitation and urban revitalization of Portugal 2020, called IFRRU 2020.

Today, March 30, new Call for Applications/Invitation code POSEUR-01-2016-36 was published, addressed to the Directorate General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) , the Regulatory Authority for Energy Services (ERSE) and the National Energy Laboratory and Geology (LNEG) and destined to activities of prospection, identification and study of the conditions necessary for the development of new energy production technologies from renewable sources and energy storage. Applications may be submitted using Balcão 2020 until 18:00 of June 3, 2016.

From June 14 to 16 the EUSEW - Sustainable Energy European Week takes place in Brussels, at which, under its Policy Conference, the European Union is asking for contributions to the edition 2016 until 22 February 2016. Published today, July 30, the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 57/2015 establishes a Financial Instrument for Energy within Portugal 2020, working with the European Investment Bank (EIB), designated IFE2020.

Yesterday, July 23, 2015, Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 52-A / 2015 was published, establishing the operational framework of the Financial Instrument for the Rehabilitation and Urban Revitalization. Also yesterday an Announcement of the Council of Ministers approved the establishment of the Financial Instrument for Energy within Portugal 2020 called IFE2020.
