The € 75 million of Community funding for urban waste recovery that was hold at the European Commission was now released. Thus, PO SEUR will immediately finalize the application processes, which have been pending for about a year and a half because of the need to clarify the possible existence of State aid in the financing of entities in this sector.

Deadline was extended for the submission of applications to Call code POSEUR-11-2015-18, which aims to promote multi-material recycling and organic recycling of municipal waste. Applications can now be submitted up to 18:00 of January 29, 2016 through Balcão 2020.

Following the definition by ERSAR of minimum requirements for the tariff structure for the sector of municipal waste Annex II of the Call for Applications POSEUR-11-2015-18 within the multi-material recycling and organic recycling of municipal waste has been amended accordingly.

Following the definition by ERSAR of the minimum requirements for the tariff structure in the urban waste sector, PO SEUR proceeded to an update on the document on "Application of the eligibility criteria for beneficiaries (Waste)", which relates to the application of line b) of paragraph 1 of Article 91 of the Specific Regulation of the SEUR domain.

Today, October 2, the deadline for submission of applications to the Call for Applications POSEUR-11-2015-18 under the Promotion of multi-material recycling and organic recycling of urban waste has been extended. This call is inserted in the Priority "Investment in the waste sector to meet EU acquis requirements relating to the environment and to meet the investment needs in excess of the requirements identified by Member States." Applications can now be submitted through the Balcão 2020 until 18:00 of December 31 2015.

Following the issues raised in the Clarification Session held on September 22 under the Call for Applications POSEUR-11-2015-18 code: Promoting multimaterial recycling and organic recovery of municipal waste, now available are various FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions relating specifically to the applications submission process on this Call.

It will take place on September, 22 from 15:00 in the Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia (LNEG) Auditorium, (on Estrada da Portela - Bairro do Zambujal – Alfragide), a Clarification Session promoted by PO SEUR under the Call for Applications published as POSEUR-11-2015-18: "Promotion of multimaterial recycling and urban waste recovery", for which the deadline for submission of applications runs until October 30.

Call for Applications POSEUR-11-2015-18 that aims the promotion of multimaterial recycling and organic urban waste recovery was amended on august, 14. The review in question concerns Point 2 - "Types of Operations". It also targeted changes to Annex III of this Call for Applications - "Parameters and Weightings to consider when assessing the selection criteria."
