The "Did you know ...?" Campaign was recently launched, coordinated within the Portugal 2020 Communication Network, which integrates all the Operational Programs. The Campaign translates into the printing of phrases in sugar packets, which disseminate the results of the European Union Funds in Portugal, with benefits for people and regions, improving the perception of the Portuguese public on the impact of the implementation of these funds in our country.

Now available for consultation and download in Excel and PDF format and reported to August 31, 2016, is the Operations Approved List within Portugal 2020, including PO SEUR. Ensure full transparency in the allocation of EU funds involves sharing with all citizens the information on the supported projects. The Operations Approved List, searchable, responds to this goal, allowing access to the entire society to the way the Union financial resources are invested.

Now available in the Applications tab - Calls for Applications for consultation and download (in Excel format and PDF) is the General Plan of Calls for Applications 2016 approved yesterday, May 9. This Plan is general and presents a forecast of opening Calls for Applications for all Programmes of Portugal 2020.

European Funds from Portugal 2020 will support energy efficiency in homes and help the Portuguese save money spent with energy. The first step of the Operational Programme for Sustainability and Efficient Use of Resources (PO SEUR) is to allocate € 40 million of European funds in the new financial instrument for the rehabilitation and urban revitalization of Portugal 2020, called IFRRU 2020.

Now, in early September, an European Commission Report was published presenting Eurobarometer 423, with the results of surveys to citizens about the impact of European regional policy. The study was conducted in June 2015 and presents data relating to the 28 Member States about the perception of citizens on the impact of policies. The full report can be found here.

The InterMinisterial Coordination Committee (CIC) for Portugal 2020 approved, on August, 5, the Global Evaluation Plan for Portugal 2020 (PGA PT2020), available for consultation. The overall goal of the evaluation is to establish itself as the guiding document for the assessment of Portugal 2020 (PT2020) - by all the entities responsible for the governance of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) - so that the design and implementation of policies and programmes can benefit from quality assessments, supported by evidence on the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the interventions.

AD & C - Agency for Development and Cohesion released the first issue of the Informative Report on European Union Funds - QREN and Portugal 2020 as a successor to the Newsletter on QREN Informative Report - Quadro de Referência Estratégico Nacional 2007-2013, constituting a structural and graphic reformulation of this document. The Report presented now seeks to provide a more concise reading in the early part of analysis of the application of EU Funds managed by national authorities, referring to more structured and detailed information by Program and Fund.

The website for the Curator of the Beneficiary of European Structural and Investment Funds is already operating. The Curator's mission is to receive and consider complaints from beneficiaries of European funds and make recommendations on them, and to propose the adoption of measures to contribute to the improvement on management of Portugal 2020.
