The distinction was awarded in Brussels, at the European Week of Regions and Cities. From a group of 104 projects that were supported by EU funds, 23 finalists were chosen divided into five categories. The "Bio Centre: biorefineries, biofuels and bioproducts," created by BLC3, from Oliveira do Hospital, brings to Portugal the distinction of the Committee.

PO SEUR provides in its Priority Axis 1 the support for a transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors, including in Investment Priority 4.3 - "Support for energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and the use of renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including in public buildings and in the housing sector. PO SEUR released yesterday, July 25, new Call for Applications for Planning on Adaptation to Climate Change, with the code POSEUR-08-2016-57. Applications may be submitted in Balcão 2020 until 18h00 on 21 October 2016.

Today, July 22, changes were made to the Calls for Applications with codes POSEUR-10-2016-50 and POSEUR-10-2016-51, with regard to the extension of the deadline for submission of applications. These Calls fall within the scope of the acquisition of operational vehicles for protection and relief and interventions in network infrastructure for enhanced operability respectively. Thus, the limit date for applications submission is extended to 16th August and 12th August respectively.

Today, July 20, PO SEUR approved changes in the Call for Applications code POSEUR-06-2016-52 in terms of its Annex II and Annex III. This Call for Applications is addressed to the managing entity of the electric mobility network - MOBI.E , S.A and plays a very important role in the reduction of polluting emissions in urban areas and the replacement of fossil fuels with an alternative source of energy.
